Issue description
text printed in wrong language e.g. printing AR Invoice for German BP but item description in DIN layout is printed in english
Troubleshooting steps/tips
A. check the language selected in the Logistic Tab of the document to be printed
- is it the same as per BP or was it changed
- does the printed language match either?
=> the language in the Logistic Tab of a document contains by default the BPs default language but this can be changed as required. When Printing, the language as selected in the document is used.
B. check which language you are using as the standard language in your system?
=> Tools-> Default Forms -> SWA_LD_TEXT - Text in which language do you see the text blocks?
- are all the text blocks in the same but "wrong language"?
- are the text blocks in varying languages?
Solution
A. this behaviour is a definition
B. import text files
- most likely the language as per "Administration->Add-ons->coresuite designer->Configuration->Text->Import Language" does/did not match the language as per "Administration->Add-ons->coresuite designer->Configuration->General->Text Language"
- export your language file via Administration->Add-ons->coresuite designer->Configuration->Text->Export and Import choosing the correct Import Language => if you have made any modifications of the textblocks and translations provided by the installation, those changes are NOT overwritten in this case
- import the text blocks as per installation choosing the correct Import Language. The texts and their translations provided by us can be found under: %ProgramFiles%\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\COR\coresuite\SWA_LD_PackageBase\text. Within the text folder in the SWA_LD_PackageBase folder there several different xml files which contain the text blocks for each different category. You can either choose to import one by one or simly the one which contains the specific text block which appears to be incorrect. => if you have made any modifications of the textblocks and translations provided by the installation, those changes ARE overwritten in this case
- the user might have overwritten existing textblocks (possibly due to A.) by mistake
- export your language file via Administration->Add-ons->coresuite designer->Configuration->Text->Export the language file, open the xml and overwrite your modifications as required and Import choosing the correct Import Language => if you have made any modifications of the textblocks and translations provided by the installation, those changes are NOT overwritten in this case
