In case you get the error message: "-5002/Employee's role must be defined as technician [OSCL.technician]" or "-5002/Cannot modify unassigned service call. " when you try to update a service call on the mobile, please check the following two settings in SAP:
1) Check for the Technician Role under Human Resources Reports -> Employee Master Data:
2) Also check in Administration -> System Initializaton -> Authorizations -> General Authorization if the user has "Full Authorization" rights for service calls:
