Move cube to new server

When you want to move an existing cube from an old environment to a new server, there are a few points to take into consideration.

When the data warehouse database (core_DWH) is installed on a new environment, indexes are assigned to all dimensions (objects).

As the indexes on the old server differ therefore from the ones on the new server, the data will not be shown consistent but mixed up.

To omit such issues, please proceed as follows:

• First, ensure that the new environment complies with all requirements (check System Requirements, Cube Configuration Requirements and you may have a look into SQL Server for SAP Business One - Best practices as well).
• Create a backup of both databases core_DWH and core_ETL on the old server, move them to the new environment and restore them.
• On the new server, run the installation wizard of Cube in SAP Business One (Administration -> Add-ons -> coresuite cube -> Installation)
