Introduction
Below you can find a short description of the main changes delivered in Coresuite 8.10.
For all changes delivered in Coresuite 8.10, please see our Release Notes.
IMPORTANT: Due to the changes and performance improvements delivered in Coresuite 7.90, if you have not upgraded to Coresuite 7.90 - Coresuite 8.05 yet, the full Coresuite add-on needs to be upgraded!
Coresuite Accounting/Designer: Tax Change in Switzerland From January 2024
Due to upcoming tax changes in Switzerland valid from January 2024, we are delivering the new layout and PrintDefinition for the SAP Form FIN60008 valid from January 2024. As there were no details about the temporary period provided by official institutions for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2023, for now, we are delivering a layout that can be used from 2024.
In addition to the new layout, your SAP Business One should be configured accordingly. You can find an example of the configuration on the following page: VAT Rates Change in Switzerland From 2024.
Coresuite Designer: Response Detail For Emails Sent to SMTP or Office 365
Improvement in Coresuite Designer now returns the status of the email sent to the SMTP server (or Office 365), which will help you to track if emails were received/accepted by the SMTP (Office 365) server or not. You can extend your customization based on this information depending on your needs.
The return detail is stored in the newly created UDF with the name "SMTPStat". This UDF is created on all marketing documents and the values stored in this UDF will depend on actual response codes returned from the SMTP server.
Swiss Payment: CAMT.054 Version 08 Improvement
Following the New ISO version for camt messages, you can now import camt.054 version 08 files in Swiss Payment.
No configuration is required from your side, Swiss Payment can decide on the file version automatically.
Swiss Payment: Security of Payment File Location
With the new improvement, you can define a specific Windows user, who can access the folder with payment files and upload those files further.
This can be set in the swissPayment configuration on the tab "Payment wizard swiss".
The idea behind this improvement is, that there is only a specific trusted user who can access and work with payment files. This user is configured in Windows (as any other user) and has permission to access and write to a specific folder where other users do not have permission. This user is then entered also in the SwissPayment configuration.
The path for the generation of files can be defined also in Fixed File Path on the Payment wizard swiss tab in swissPayment configuration.
Coresuite: Missing Close Button (X) on Reports
It can happen randomly that when you open any Coresuite report, you maximize it, minimize, and maximize again, the close button disappears and SAP Business One UI stops responding as expected. For example, the whole SAP Business One menu is maximized, menu items do not react to mouse-clicking, etc.
For Coresuite reports, we are using standard SAP Business One elements (forms) from the SDK and we are just pushing data from the database to these forms. The reason for the behavior described above is, that Coresuite pushes data faster than the SAP Business One form is loaded. This behavior occurs only in specific environments and is dependent on an (for now) unknown combination of SAP Business One font type and size, Microsoft OS updates installed, and also performance of the workstation.
With Coresuite 8.10 we are delivering an experimental feature, which delays the loading of data to the form, which seems to solve the issue in 1 of our environments where we were able to reproduce the issue.
If you face this issue, to activate this new feature, a full Coresuite installation needs to be performed.
Then you can activate the feature as follows:
1. Go to Administration → Add-Ons → coresuite administration → Administration.
2. Open the tab Global module configuration → click on Advanced Settings.
3. Tick the checkbox "Enable Report Viewer Form Fix".
4. Restart Coresuite.
