Last reminder: Deprecation of legacy standard plugins for auto-scheduling in SAP Field Service Management

Dear customers and partners

This is the last reminder about the imminent deprecation of the legacy standard plugins for auto-scheduling in SAP Field Service Management. Please note the instructions below.

What do you need to do now?

We ask all customers, partners and colleagues to update any Business Rules and REST API Calls using the legacy standard plugins (Best, Nearest, SkillsAndDistance, Quickest) to start using the equivalent new standard policy.

Furthermore, if you are using Planning Functions or the auto-scheduling Widget in Planning and Dispatching, please make sure that you update the following company setting to use one of the new standard policies: SAP.FSM.WFM.PlanningFunctionsPlugin.

Please also instruct users currently using the Best Matching Technician feature with legacy Standard Plugins (Best, Nearest, SkillsAndDistance, Quickest) to switch to the new standard policies.
