Suppress search dialog

Hello Forum,

I want to create an Offer in the SAP Gui. I dont know the article number, so I insert a productname. If I leave this field, a new dialog pops up that searches for the entered name.

I want to write my own Search dialog. I have connected it with the LostFocus Handler, but the inbuild Search dialog pops up first. Does sombody know a possibility to suppress this search dialog?

Edit: It is possible to disable the dialog with a global event hander for the BoEventTypes.et_CHOOSE_FROM_LIST event.

In the Internet are some examples.
