Capture the Print event in an optimization rule on a delivery Note

Hi 

Is it possible to create a optimization rule that gets triggered with some prints a delivery note ,

The delivery note is opened and in mode ok , the users select from the menu - file - print and at this stage we would like to trigger some code. 

I have tried using the event types print and printdata but I can never get the trigger to fire when I print from delivery note .

Can this be done ?
