Recurrend time
George Veerman
Hi everyone,i got a big challenge.
CASE:
We've got customers which have a servicecontract and subscription for that servicecontract. The servicecontract covers only 0.5 hour time each month. That 0.5 hour is not transferable to another month. We start our billing wizard for subscriptions in the beginning of each month.
Anyone a solution for this case in Coresuite Time ?

Hi GeorgeI would do that only with a subscription, which bills every month 0.5 an hour. So in this case you can link the servicecall to the subscription.

Adrian,i understand,
but in case:
Customer has a service contract.
We give each service contract 0.5 hour per month for free which is not transferable to another month. Sometime customers dont have service calls with time en sometimes a couple of hours which are billed end the end of the month.
Regards.

Hi GeorgeActually it isn't possible to solve your business case with standard and full automatic.
1. So there would be a way book all the times and on the end of the month when you create your invoice, save it as draft and make an additional line into the invoice with a minus position of half an hour.
2. Another way would be if you solve that with a service contract module and a subscription. This solution works as long as the customer used efforts during the month. Otherwise you would have to do a credit note for the invoice which you created with the subsription. I wouldn't use this way, because it generates a lot of administrative work.
3. With an additional program it would be possible to automate proposal 1.
What do you think?

Hi GeorgeWould it be possible that we do a online meeting at thursday afternoon to analyse what's the best way to ind a solution. So, then it would be also possible to give you an idea, how many time it takes to realize the proposed solution.
Best regards, Adrian
