Coresuite Time - Billing Wizard
Chi Fai Cheung
Hi Adrian,I am still testing the module Time and i have questions.
- Is it possible to invoice with the 'Billing Wizard' based on a Sales Order in the Time Management window?
For example:
I have in the window Time Management in tab Efforts; filled the hours based on a Sales Order. After that i have also copied in to the tab Worktime.
But when i want to invoice with the 'Billing Wizard' I don't want to invoice on the Service Call, Subscription or Business Partner but on a Sales Order...
Is there other options to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Chifai

Hi Chi FaiIt isn't possible to invoice hours from a sales order. A sales order is like a project with mostly some special conditions, we didn't implement that functionality.
But there is a good way. On the sales order you've got a function "Additional Services" which generates ServiceCalls (Linked to the sales order). This service calls can be easy invoiced with the billing wizard.

You are correct you can linked a Sales Order to a Service Call, but not the amount and hours.
We have the following situation:
1). In SBO we have create a Sales Order 'A' of 200 hours (with a service call)
2). Employee records in the tab Working Time of 40 hours (5 rows) is linked to the service call
3).
QUESTION: Can the Administration Department using the 'Billing Wizard' (via Service Calls): Invoice the Sales Order 'A' (40 hours) + defined rates is already filled in the Sales Order 'A'.
Thanks again,

Hi Chi FaiI don't understand exactly what you mean. What you can do is the following scenario:
1. Create a sales order
2. Create a service call via additional services
3. Book hours to the service call
4. Invoice the service call with the billing wizard (the invoiced hours has no reference to the sales order)
