Abonnement module

Hello,I have a problem understanding the Abo module. I have added my hosting services as articles in my B1 environment. These prices are for a service during a month. When i add a customer to the abo module and select to invoice each 1 Month it works ok ofcouse. But when i select to invoice a customer each 3 months, i should expect to see all my services multiplied by 3 on the invoice. This is not the case, they are charged only once. So how do i make sure the montly services are charged according to the selected paying period? (3 or 6 months in advance)
Best regards,
Frans

Hi FransThe defined items will be invoiced exactly like defined when generating an invoice. When you define a period for each month, the system generates while running the billing wizard each month an invoice. If you define a period for 3 months, the system generates an invoice every 3 months. It doesn't generate a multiplicated invoice, it generates more than once invoice.

Hello Adrian,Ok, so when i have a customer who wants to pay each 3 months i have to add the services to the article view and manually modify the total price? That is odd, i should expect to have this automatically done. If i change the price of an article i do not want to change those subscriptions all by hand..
Also another issue i have: let's pretend my customer is invoiced in advance for his services for the last quarter of 2008 (oktober t/m december). In november he needs some extra mailboxes for the rest of this quarter. So i change the service from, let's say 30 mailboxes to 35 mailboxes. I do this by inserting the enddate on the current line (30 mailboxes) and add a new line for 35 mailboxes starting from the first of november. The problem is; when i run the invoicing in january for the next quarterly invoicing these changed services are not invoiced as this period is already marked as invoiced! How can i make sure this is working as desired?

Frans

Hi FransYou can define the period for 3 months. The price of the item you can define for 1 month and add a line with a quantity of 3 into subscription.
A global price-update isn't available at the moment. It would be possible to program it.
If you invoiced already the subscription for a period, you can add additional items but the period won't be invoiced a second time.
