Create a new menu in sap to show the results of a previously saved query

Here is a New Menu rule to open a query based on its name. You can import it with the customize import functionality.



The rule creates a new menu entry with the name "Open Query" in the folder "Reports". When clicking on it it opens the query manager with the query saved as "SWA_LD_FormType".



You can easily adapt this rule to your needs.

1) change "Open Query" to the name you want to display

2) change the position of the new menu entry by setting a new parent (in this example it is "43545", this is the menu folder "Reports")

3) change the query to open (open the expression of the rule and change "SWA_LD_FormType" to the name of your own query)

  Hey Joris,

   

  this is in fact a default functionality of coresuite customize.

  You can right-click on any folder in the SAP Main Menu, select "coresuite customize" and "Add user query". 
  The user then can type in a description or just select the query he wants to have attached to the main menu:

  This will automatically create a "New Menu"-rule that you can further modify afterwards.
