Missing financial menu in Accounting
Carl Verhagen
Dear all,After the upgrade of 1-11-2010 of the Coresuite Accounting, the financial reports are missing in the menustructure.
The Sales and Service reports are still visible (zee attachement)
Licenses are ok for several users.
Please advise.
Friederike Mundt
Hi Carl,Have you checked the following?
* coresuite accounting module is activated for the user(s)
* the user(s) have licenses for the coresuite accounting module
* the user(s) have the Authorization to the user datasources:
** Check under: SAP Business One Menu > Administration > System Initializations > Authorizations > General Authorizations > User Authorizations > coresuite designer > Datasources > FIN ...
Hope this helps.

Hi Friederike,Thanks for you quick reply but unfortenately it didn't solve the problem.
As I'm a superuser, I've full access to everything, but I checked your suggestions and everything was ok.
I've a license, Accounting is activated for me and I have the FIN datasource with full access.
Any other suggestions?
Friederike Mundt
Hi Carl,There are no other settings do activate the reports.
The best is to contact our support with the following information:
* SAP Business One Version
* coresuite Version
* coresuite debug log

Hi CarlDid you already check if the you can enable the menu items through the form settings?
HTH, Adrian
Carl Verhagen
Hi Adrian,Thanks for your answer. The menu was disabled in the form settings, however if I enable them and push the Apply Authorisation and Actualise button, you'll find out that the menu is disabled again after returning to the formsettings.
Also our consultant have the same error so it must be something with the Coresuite Accounting software upgrade.
After the upgrade release of 1/11/2011 we have several problems with f.e. the picklist layout, installation of Coresuite and our consultants are trying to solve it together with Coresuite?.

Hi CarlIt seems that it is a problem of SAP saving the formsettings. So do the following steps:
1. enable the menu items through the formsettings
2. Close SAP through File-->Exit (explizit that way!)
3. logoff from windows
4. logon on Windows
5. logon on SAP
6. check the menu items

Hi Adrian,Unfortenately it didn't work.
I enable, update the menu, logged off SAP the way you said, restart and even turn off my computer and start up again SAP, but the menu is still missing.
The file COR_ACCT_CONF is also empty. Yesterday our consultant asked me to fill this and after that it worked.
However, we have 7 databases and 5 users and to do this for all cost a lot of time.
We never had any problems with the update of Coresuite untill last time.

Hi CarlPlease contact our support that we can have a closer look to the system.

Hi Adrian,Our consultant will take contact with Coresuite as they have the same problem.
Otherwise 2 people are busy with the same problem.
Thanks anyway for all advise.

Hi Carl,so far we have not yet been contacted by your consultant.
Kind regards,
Sonja

Hi Sonja,I did send them a reminder yesterday.
Hopefully they'll contact you soon as I don't want to come between you and our consultant.
Only if it take to long, I'll ask you directly how to solve the problem.
Will you then want to take a look into our system by internet?

If table COR_ACCT_CONF does not contain any records, the accounting module has not correctly installed;in current versions (8.81/8.82) this could be due to the SAP Bug related to the ArchiveDate field (SAP Note 1630980) [attachment=159:1630980 - Error happens when adding user-defined table by SQL query.pdf]
