Mandatory UDF doesn't work

Hi all,
I try to make a UDF field in the business partner mandatory but it doesn't work.
I make it mandatory by using the rightmouse click so if a new bussiness partner is added and this field is not filled, a warning will appear.
I have compared it with an earlier thread here, but still no warning.
What am I doing wrong? See the attachement.

change the Formtype in the green area on that line from -134 to 134.

Thanks for your quick reply, however it still doesn't work.
After the suggested change, I added some value to a field in the business partner and save the change. The mandatoryfield is still empty.
No warning appears.
Creating a new business partner with an empty branche field also doesn't give a warning.
Also rightclicking at the mandatory field shows that the field can be made mandatory again?

Any other idea?

in the expression you have a value '241'.

Did you really intent to check on this value?

Otherwise I suggest that you completely delete the rule and do it again. Please be careful that when you add mandatory fields with the wizard that the combobox has to be set to the value that the user is not allowed to set, e.g. to '-1' or empty

Thanks for your answer, it become a little bit clear now how this works, however..
I deleted the line, created a new one with an empty field.
The expression is ok and testing it with no value, creates a warning.

But when I create a new business partner and I don't fill the U_Branche field, the business partner can be saved without a warning?

What am I doing wrong?

Please advise.

Hej Carl,
this is probably a bug in the current version.
Check the rule (after you have add it) and delete in the column 'Form Type' the minus character '-'.
Then it should work.
