Print after save of picklist
Ina Colman
Hello,In SAP Bussiness One I enabled the function of "print after save" of the picklist. It results in printing a PLD layout of the picking list after clicking the add button of the "Pick List Details" window.
(Pick and Pack Manager --> Release to Pick List --> Pick List Details)
Now I tried to do the same with coresuite. I enabled the print after save function of the picklist, it doesn't print after clicking the add button in the Pick List Details window.
I created a new form type in Tools--> Default Forms --> Form Types, of the Pick List Details (60200). But when I define a new print layout with this formtype, SBO generates an error "No print after save for this formtype".
Is there a possibily to print the picklist after clicking the add button of the Pick List Details?
Thanx,
Ina

Hi InaThe recent release 1.91 includes the ability to print after save picklists.
I think your setup should work after installing it.

Hi Philip,We were waiting for this release so that the picklist and other forms could be printed automatically after saving the document.
Some documents are printed now, but the picklist isn't.
I've marked the field Print after save in the printdefinition of the picklist, which we've created as you described in one of the subjects at this forum.
Normally we get the error that the print after save doesn't exist for this formtype, but now it's indeed possible to mark the field.
Please advise what we do wrong?

Hi CarlPlease be sure to use the formtype of the form on which you press the "Add" button in the printdefinition.

Hi Phillip,Thanks for the quick answer, but I think I did the right settings of the picklist.
Till now the picklist created from the pick & pack manager had to be printed manually. The printout was the right form, so it all works fine.
Please see the attached as I already had defined the formtype in the printdefinition.
It still doesn't work.
Please advise.

Hi,I think you can only print after save in the form 60020 (pick list details).
This form opens when you click on the "release to picklist" in the pick and pack manager.

HiMaybe i was not specific enough.
-> Use the formtype of the form from where you generate the picklist
In this case as indicated by Ina : 60020

Thanks Ina and Philipp,It's working now as I still have to change the layout a bit as the adress is now missing.
From the information in the post of Manuel Grenacher of 13/09/2006 we created this Coresuite picklist with formtype 85 and that was always working fine.
So I will try to find out what I can change.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Carl Verhagen
