Printing from DI api
Erik van Dongen
I have a report, created on a user defined query. I want to print this report out of my addon, trough the DI api. I assume this have to be done by writing a XML file to a directory for batch processing. If there is a faster/easier way, i would like to hear this.I set up my report, set up a layout- and print definition, filled the config and created a xml. after this, i restarted coresuite but nothing is hapening. I also can't find anything in the coresuitedebuglog.
I attached screenshots of all the settings i did. All help is welcome.
Thanks,
Erik

I got it working. I set the copy property in the layout defenition to 0 and selected an user. Now it is working correctly.BUT still i think this is not the right way for us. We have a webservice from where the printjob have to be initiated directly (even if there is no client app running). We are using the SDK, DI-API and the CoreSuite Framework. Isn't there a direct way for printing these documents by the SDK? What's the best way to achieve this.
All help is welcome.

Hi ErikFor now this is the way to go.
We are working on a service only Version of coresuite designer.
It should be ready before end of the year.
