Dear all,
Is it possible to invoice the hours related to a project?
Because I can not find this in the billing wizard.
I have been able to invoice hours related directly to a business partner or service call, but not hours related to a project.
Also hours from the sales order need to be invoiced by the sales order directly and not with the billing wizard (except additional services). Is this correct?
How do you invoice the hours related to a coresuite Time Project.Can this be done?

Because I need to know if we need to look for another addon (for instance Trimergo) if we can not use Coresuite Time in this project (18 users).

That's correct. It isn't possible to generate invoices or other documents direct from sales orders or projects. It is possible to generate them from service calls or the business partner itself.
The idea behind this objects are as follow:
Service calls:
- based on effort hours
- small orders
- ticketing/service
Business Parter:
- based on effort hours
- I self wouldn't use this for service, because a customer contacts you with an issue. So I would like to record additional information and close at the end exactly this issue. So use for that the service call
Sales Order:
- Standard SAP invoice process
- Goes more in the direction of fix price
- Time controlling instead of charging based on efforts
- If there were additional expenses use the service calls and link them to the sales orders
Projects:
- container to hold different documents/objects together (quotation, sales invoice, puchase invoice, service calls, ....)
- time controlling for external and internal projects
So, there is often more the question what exactly the customer has to have at the end. There is most a way to fit the software to the customer processes or the processes to the software.
I strongly recommend you in this case to do a coresuite time workshop or take the help of one of our consultants for a specific project.

Dear all,
I understand your explanation for the business partners, sales orders and service calls.
I find that can be defended to the customer. I find it a bit harder to defend your point of view about the projects.
I agree that he want's to do time controlling on a project. And that the project acts as a container.
But he also wants to book hours directly to a project and as such invoice them from here I think.
So it's a pitty that this is not possible.

I agree with Bart, it's a pitty. This is something we really need on the nordic market.
Probably not to hard to implement the functionality to invoice time based on projects..

I also noticed all my efforts on projects are in the same table as all other effort meaning it would not be impossible to include projects in the billing wizard.
