Printdefinition depending on Doc series

Hi all,

I'd need a suggestion! Is it possible to set a printdefinition so that, depending on the document serie, the layout is choosen automatically by coresuite Designer?

I know that inside a layout is it possible to display/hide fields, text and so on with conditions and scripts but my two layouts are pretty different (one is landscape the other is portrait) and it would be much easier to have the possibility to make Coresuite designer choose the right one to display!

Hi Francesca

You have different options here.
I would suggest you the Copy - Queries Feature.
Make a query like

SELECT CASE WHEN '[%DocSeries]' = 'MySerie1' Then 1 Else 0 END 

And another one like:

SELECT CASE WHEN '[%DocSeries]' = 'MySerie2' Then 1 Else 0 END

Save them in the Group SWA_LD_Copy.

Then add your 2 layouts in the documents folder of the Printdefinition and use the corresponding Copy queries.
