PDF files size

we found a way to reduce 30 times the size of PDFs created by B1-coresuite.

ex. we reduced from 138K to 4K (with same quality) one print by not using PDF icon in coresuite layout print preview, instead using Export icon, then selecting PDF format, then changing default PDF settings

unmarking "embed fonts" and marking "compress"

is there a way to set these new defaults, as to have user just click pdf icon on print preview?

Check the "Embed Font" - Setting in the Printdefinition Extended Tab.

but I had already tried the suggested setting in printdefinition,
with no success

it seems that at runtime coresuite doesn't consider that setting

Did you adjusted the correct printdefinition?
Please let me know SAP version and coresuite designer version if it doesn't work.

yes I checked again, I was workin on the right printdef

B1: 2007 A (8.00.175) SP:00 PL:30
coresuite designer: 1.72
coresuite: 2.33
