Creating our sip package

Hi,
I have created two layouts and several print definitions in a test company.

Now we want to go live and so we have to copy everything to the live company.

How can we create our own sip packages to export layouts and print definitions.

I have also read the document (coresuiteDesignerPackagesEN_V001) about creating sip packages, but i do not manage to create a sip package of our own reports.

Is there a more detailed (step by step or an example) document on how to create your own sip packages of selfmade layouts?

How can you for example create a formparamdef.xml and def.xml for your own layouts and printdefinitions?

For example: I have a printdefinition TC_PRINTD1 and a layoutdefinition TC_LAYOUTD1 in my SBO test company.
How can create the "SWA_" directory with all the neeeded subdirectories, xml files and ...._ldpack.xml file?

Is there an automatic tool?

Hi

With V 2.0 we have introduced the new Layoutmanagement Feature.
You can create Export Files and import them in other Databases

You may also consult the updated online help.

Dear Philipp,
reading the online manual, I undertand that I have to follow all the steps under "Advanced Designer --> SIP Export" to generate the entire package, and then import it using the "coresuite administration" option.

Is it right?

In SAP it doesn't exist a "button" automatically creates all the package, does it?

There is no need for SIP PAckages. Just Export/Import from the Layoutdefinition

Should I find a new button in the layoutdefinition form?

Wich version of Coresuite SwissAddon should I have?
