Problem with variables

Hi Philipp,

I have a query that retrieves a numeric variable. However, I compare this variable, with the year of a date.

Exemple : YEAR(GetDate())='[%Date]' (avec la date 2008)

When I run Layout, I insert the year and the field automatically converts my years in 20.08.08. (If year = 2007 -> 20.07.08).

Is there a solution to this problem?

Maybe you have set the Format of the Textbox to "Date" which is wrong because it's a numeric value.

Please check.

No the format is numeric. I give you the query :

SELECT MONTH(T0.RefDate) AS Mois,
SUM(T0.Credit) AS Compte3100, SUM(T0.Debit) AS Compte4100,
SUM(T0.Credit - T0.Debit) AS Total
FROM JDT1 T0
WHERE YEAR(T0.RefDate)=YEAR('[%Annee]')
AND (T0.Account ='3100' OR T0.Account ='4100')
GROUP BY MONTH(T0.RefDate)


When I write the year (2008) and I put the tick, the date turns into 20.08.08 ...

The coresuite's version is 2.32 with the last updates.

It seems that the problem is on the designer side.
Please post also your binding expression and the format properties of the concerning textbox.

btw. 2.32 is not the designer version. Check AddOns/coresuite admininstration.>Global Modul Settings for the designer Version.
