Hello dear beta users.

It's time to announce the new features of coresuite designer:

Usability improvements:
- Duplicate Layoutdefinitions with Right - Click / Duplicate
- Reach all the important Metadata from within Printdefinition and Layoutdefinition by pressing the Function Button
- No more reopening the Layoutform when a new Query or Parameter got saved.
- Multilanguage (English and German for now. More to follow)
- Tooltips in the Preview Window
- B1 Toolbarbuttons are disabled now when Preview is open
- Update Menu is no more needed in the Layoutdefinition form.
- Create a report directly from the Querymanager

New Features:
- AdvancedGroupBand which simplifies Grouping and Aggregating.
- Charts & Instruments can be used now (Templates Download : http://www.coresuite.ch/index.php?id=473&file=1A112B0&no_cache=1&uid=2476)
- Generate Dunning Letters without prior B1 Printing
- When printing a document now the Paperformat will be set
- New LD.GetFormattedAdress() - Function retrieves an Adress according the settings defined in Adressformat
- Authorisations for all Forms get preinstalled and can be assigned with B1

New Layouts:
- Stock Transfer
- Goods Entry / Goods Exit
- Goods Entry Production / Goods Exit Production
- Bill of Material
- Production Order
- Sales Report Documents
- Sales Report Pivot
- Sales Report Dashboard

Marketing DIN Layout Improvements:
- Get Net VAT Sum from DB
- Handle Summary Type in Layout (by Item, by Document)

Look improvements:
- Adapted Preview Window to B1 Look
- Removed obsolete Fields
- General Form Look

Hallo Philipp,

bzgl. der neuen Seitenvorschau: Aufgrund der Integration des Vorschaufensters direkt in SBO sind uns folgende Nachteile aufgefallen:

1) Wenn das Vorschaufenster nicht maximiert wurde, kann der untere Teil des Layouts nicht betrachtet werden.
2) Dadurch dass das Vorschaufenster jetzt auch noch in SBO hängt, wird es relativ schwierig, neben dem Vorschaufenster noch andere SBO-Forms im Vordergrund zu haben. Früher konnte man hierbei den Vorteil von zwei (falls vorhanden) Monitoren noch nutzen.
3) Wenn man aus dem Layoutdesigner die Vorschau aufruft und zuvor in einem anderen Fenster war (nicht SBO) muss man erst per Hand den SBO-Client in den Vordergrund holen um die Seitenvorschau zu sehen.

Wenn du in der LD Config im Reiter Preview 100% ancheckst hast du den gesamten Inhalt im Previewfenster.

Wegen den 2 Bildschirmen:

Mach ich was falsch oder ... ich finde die Printdef für den Stock Transfer nirgends.

Habe soeben ein Update der Beta gemacht welches dieses Fehlende Layout & Printdef auch beeinhaltet.

Hallo Philipp,

wie meinst du das mit der Schönheit?

Spaß beiseite, mit der alten Seitenvorschau war es etwas komfortabler, zwischen Vorschaufenstern und SBO-Form hin- und herzuschalten (meine Kollegen sind auch schon am meckern).

Ich habe die Beta 1.602, aber die Charts gehen immer noch nicht, habe immer noch das gleiche Problem:

Ich kann einen Chart als File speichern aber er wird nicht in den Report übernommen.

Charts inside Report Invert

3. I open the chart designer mit a double click
4. I desgin the chart

At least, i want to save the designed chart inside the report. How i can do this? I only can save as file, but then the chart on the report is empty.

My system: Windows XP SP2, VS 2500 SP1, RSS 3.0

Wir machen das auch so.
Hmmm. Bist du wirklich sicher dass du den Chart Generator immer mittels OK unten links verlässt?

Sorry war mein Fehler, hab den unscheinbaren Button übersehen.

Andere Frage: Leider fehlt mir eine Möglichkeit die Daten für einen Chart zu Filtern.

Also entweder fehlt bei den Chartcontolls ein Feld "Filter Expression" oder es muss möglich sein ein Advanced Databand als Quelle anzugeben.
