No Docnum or DocDate parameter defined for marketing document

Hi,

Can anyone help me with the following:

I exported a layout (rst file) and the texts (xml file) to import it to another company.
But when i push the button layout design in the layout definition screen i get the message:

No Docnum or DocDate parameter defined for marketing document

So I deleted the paramters in the layout definition screen and tried to execute 'Get from Datasource'

but then the following message appears : Error in ItemEvent : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What am i doing wrong?

Hi David

This is because the designer of cld 1.31 can not be started if no data is present (depending on usedata,design formtype and parameters).
By default designformtype is set to sales order so i assume you don't have any orders in the system.
Check if the designformtype is the to salesorder and reselect "document" in the usedata field.
Then you can Press "Get From Datasource" again.

I've created an offer but that didn't work, then i created an order based on that offer an now i can open de layout designer and attach my own layout to it.
