Copy reports

Hi,
is it possible to copy reports (layoutdef, printdef, param) created in a database to another db using an SQL query?
Or I have to create the sip file...
I think all data are stored on db, therefore it should be possible...

I have done this, but you need to update 5 or 6 tables and also CoreSuite is using SAP Object ID's, instead of querry names. Because of this, you will need to go back to design and select querries from list, if you report uses querries. This is because in your new database, user querries will have different ID's.

Thanks for this nice explanation. This fact and the fact that we shouldn't update any UDO Tables is the reason why we are using the .SIP method.
