Rule on editable field in grid generated by grid configurator
Lars Pelzer
Hi,
I've made a basic grid with the grid configurator with 1 editable field.
The field contains a date which has to be written back in the production order.
I've made several customize rules on the field with just a msgbox, but the rule doesn't get triggered...
I've attached a screenprint with the values.
Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,

Hi Lars, why do you need a rule for that? I would suggest you to use the WriteBack column of the Grid.

Hi Paolo,
Thank you for the reaction!
I saw the writeback column of the grid, but I can only put in a parameter...
The grid is started from the menu and is based on a query.
Kind regards,

Hi Lars, the parameter is the field where you want to write back.
Are you using Easy Function or Designer syntax?
Lars Pelzer
Hi Paolo,
I'm using Easy Function...

Hi Lars, then go to the field where you want to copy the final result right click > customize copy placeholder to clipboard
Then go in the write back column and right click > paste
try out and let me know

Hi Paolo,
I think we misunderstand each other ;)
I've created a grid with the configurator based on a query and the grid can be started via a menu item.
One column is editable and that is the "U_Productiedatum". The date that is filled in there has to be written back to the production order (OWOR) itself (number is the first column of the grid).
I've tried your last solution, but I can't past anything there...
Thank you for your help so far!
Kind regards,
