Bug in Mandatory field functionality ?

I wanted to set some fields mandatory on the BP card.
When I use the Add/Update button to record it works fine, I receive the message saying he field are mandatory.
But if I click on the cross to close the form while the form is on Add/Update mode, I receive the standard system message box asking if I want to save, and if I click on Yes, the data are recorded even if the fields set as mandatory were not filled.
this is for me a very big problem of data integrity.
Am I doing something wrong ? how can I save if the field is set as mandatory ?

Hello,

you are right. I haven't thought of this one.
I have created several rules similar to the mandatory field rule, which have the same problem.
The reason is that the event needed for the rule is not triggered that way.
Has anyone else an idea how to solve this?
