Hi,
We have two specific requests from one of our customer and I would like to now if we can manage it with Coresuite customize.
The first request is to give or not access to document by user depending on the project code used in the document. In the same way, in all the lists with project, the user should be able to see only the project he is affected to (using a table to link users with projects).
The second request is to hide some information in a form depending on the user connected. The objective is to give access for a user to a form but only on selected fields.

Hi Etienne,

1) There are several ways of opening data of document (browse through data, open it with a linked button, open it with other buttons, use the sap search form...). Therefore you have to listen to several inputs and think of all the many ways to hinder the form to open which points to developing an Addon and not to try it with coresuite customize.

2) Hiding fields can be done with the itemplacement, where you can specify which fields are visible or not. You have to register every field in customize. There is one problem. At the moment, you can only make the field either visible or invisible for all users. In the new customize version (coming in the january 2009) there will be a group control element where you can add a user to a group and make rules for certain groups.
