Printing barcode
Ina Colman
Hello,I would like to print a barcode on a label.
The barcode contains letters, numbers, and the folowing characters: "-","/" and "".
The barcode contains between 15 and 20 characters.
Example: 07/08/2009A0001
Which barcode type can I use in this label?
I tried a lot of barcode types of designer but it gives always an error.
Thanks,
Ina

Hi Ina,usually in one dimension barcode you store number (for example using EAN 9) or number and capital letter (for example using Code39).
The problem is to store also symbol as your "-","/" and "". I suggest:
Solution 1:
If you don't use letter Y,X,Z, you can replace in the coding function your special symbol with each particular letter, then in the decoding phase, do the inverse operation
Solution 2:
Use two dimension qr code: it supports also your special characters.
Greetings,
