Copying Layouts from one SAP company to another

Hi all,

My client has set up a new company in SAP. Is there a way to copy Coresuite layouts from their existing company to the new one?

Update to cld 2.0 (Releasd yesterday) and use the new "layoutmanagement" feature.

I have checked the customer's version of Coresuite within Add-On Manager - they are using Coresuite 2.24 on SAP 2005.

Are they on the right version? Is it appropriate to take them to v2.0?

The customer has downloaded the updates and is now on v2.

Hi Phillip,

Thanks for your help thus far. I have looked at the Layoutmanagment section of the link www.coresystems.ch/fileadmin/filebrowser/help/help/designer/en/index.html.

The guide suggests that there should be the option Layoutmanagement under the Add-Ons -> coresuite designer menu. I do not have this option (see attached screenshot of the menu, form settings and current coresuite versions.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Greig
Thats why you didn't install the recent versions you see in this tab.
Click on the modules and press "Install" to really install them into the database.
After restart of coresuite you should see then the missing menu.
