Number of copies on labelprinter
Thijs Geeris
Hello,One of our customers wants to print itemlabels on a zebraprinter.
When they do a goods receipt PO they select an itemline ans press print. A popup comes up where the need to enter (the packaging qty and) the NrofCopies they want for this itemlabel.
I added the default parameter NrofCopies in the inputform but this doesn't work. What do I have to do to make this work?

HiThen you need to add a column like:
Select MyQuantirty AS [@@RepeatRow] ,...
And your Label should be in an AdvancedDataBand
(look at the preintsalled ItemLabel Sample)
into your query.

Hi,Thanks for your response. I understand what you mean. Problem is that is most cases they add the Goods Receipt PO before they print the itemslables based on the lines. This means UDF on linelevel cannot be filled anymore after document is added.
Another thing is that if they need more labels they open the goods receipt again and print more labels of an item.

Hi ThijsThen you should use a query & parameter like:
Select [%LabelQty] AS [@@RepeatRow],..
And add this Param as an Inputparam in the Layoutdefinition.

hello Philipp,Thanks for the tips. The only thing is that I am not able to realise it. Maybe I missed a small setting. In the screenshot you can see the different settings of the label layout and printdefinition. What did I do wrong? Please give me a few more tips.

Hi ThijsThe Query needs to be in the Datasource.
So you need to adjust your existing query and insert also this [@@RepeatRow] - Column.

I created a new printquery and added this in the datasource as you said (see screenshot). Is this what you mean? Because I am still not able to make it work.I also checked with one of my collegues but also for him it was not exactly clear what you mean.

Hi ThijsSorry for being not precise enough. This Column needs to be in the same query like the data which gets printed.
Please have a look at the SWA_LD_ItemLabel Layout & Queries to see what i mean.

Hi Philipp,As you told me I should use the repeatrow functionality in the query as below. This works fine.
SELECT T0.*, [%LabelQty] as [@@RepeatRow], T1.*, etc...
Thanks Thijs
