Set a specific printer
Chi Fai Cheung
Hi,I have created a layout for printing my invoices. Now I want to print it to a specific printer (not my default printer), which I have installed in my layoutdefenition. But when I print, it always goes to my default windows printer and not to the choosen one in the layoutdef. ...
I have SBO 2007 SP01 PL 41 installed, with coresuite designer version 2.44.
Can you please help me with this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Chief

Hi Chi FaiIt's important that it's UNchecked.
Elsewise everytime the default printer gets used.
So if it wasn't checked before my next question is:
How many copies do you print?

Hi Philipp,
Before the checkbox ('Force Default Printer') wasn't checked.

Can you check the screenshot.

Hi Chi FaiSo then just delete the value in the copy column.
Remember:
Printdefinition defines how many copies get printed.
Layoutdefinition defines which copy get printed where

Maybe you have it, but you can't see it because it is in the "PageOverlay" like in Default CoreSuite Layouts.Kind regards

Yes correct, in the layout designer you can't see it.
But when you print the layout i can't see it too...

You can use the "Zoom Out"-Function in the toolbar so see the pageoverlay or you can see it in the DocumentTree.I hope this will help you.
Kind regards
