Creating a report with a query (open documents)

Hello,

Is it possible (and how) to create an 1 report of the open draft-documents. For example:

SELECT * FROM ODRF T0 
INNER JOIN DRF1 T1  ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry 
WHERE 
T0.ObjType = 13 
AND 
T0.DocStatus = 'O' 

This report must generate 1 report with a Documentheader/footer and a header for each Draft and in the body the rows of the draft (advanced databand) and a draftfooter with the totals.
And all the information (OCRD, OCPR, OITM, etc) used as in the Marketing Din examples.

Is this possible and how??

Hi Teun

Of course you can build an separate layout which shows all the open documents in it.
In this case i would suggest you to use the groupband for grouping.

The other solution would be to use the existing DIN layout for printing all the open drafts (every document a separate printout/preview) but it needs newest beta and SelectGrid and a small script in the DIN layout.

I can help you doing that via regular remote support (it's beyond the forum help)

About the beta:
Where can I download this?
When is the expected release?
Is this the new version which you talked about last year when your visited us for a workshop? Do you have white papers of it?

We are still working on the beta and especially on the new documenation which will be presented under : http./help.coresuite.ch

Release will at Cebit meaning ~ 4. March.

You can find more information about the beta in the beta forum.

Would it be a option for you to already install the beta?
There you have some new sales reports which use groupband.

Btw. with this new beta i can solve your request by remote within 30 Minutes but only when the existing layouts should get printed (2nd approach i've mentioned)

It's possible to install the beta, but can I switch between the beta and the latest release? Else I should install on a demosystem...
Where can I download this or could you mail me the beta?!

Yes it would be possible to switch.
I'll can you the beta if you like.
You can always revert by downloading the SWA_LD.sip again from http://www.coresuite.ch -> modules download.
