Parameter Error on Goods Issue Print
Steven Delombaerde
Hello,I've created a form, parameter, layout and print definition to print the Goods Issue form. The form is set to 720, the parameter I use is DocNum as Numeric, and the item I refer to is 7. I have 2 queries that retrieve OIGE data based on DocNum and IGE1 data based on a link with OIGE on DocEntry. The layout refers to these queries, and from the layout design, all previews OK.
However, when I print from the Goods Issue transaction itself, I get:
DocNum or DocDate or Segment Parameter has invalid values. No data retrieved.
As stated above, I only use 1 parameter DocNum (spelling ok in query and parameter definition).
What am I doing wrong here? Should I be using other parameters?
Thanks
Steven

Hi StevenGoods Entries are treated like Marketing docs meaning that you should use a combination of DocNum and DocDate for the id.
Define also a DocDate parameter like you did with DocNum and it should work.
(You don't have to use it in the query if you're sure that DocNum is unique.)

Philip,Sorry for coming back on this, but it still doesn't work. I have tried to set the layout to a Document, like a Marketing Document, and that also fails, even with all parameters neatly defined (DocNum, DocDate and LangCode). I have defined these exactly like for an A/R Invoice, but no luck.
Are you sure this is working for you, and if so, is it possible to send me a screenshot of the layout, form and param windows.
I am on the latest version of all CoreSuite components.
Thanks
Steven
