ASCII output to printer
Thijs Geeris
Hello,One of our customers want to use a flat file to send to a printer (without layout, ASCII). So when they press the printicon a file has to be send to the printer. Depending on the layout of this flat file the printer decides how many prints the printer has to generate and if the document needs a staple etc.
Is it possible to create a file like this with coresuite?
Thanks fro your answer.

Hi GeerisIt's not easy.
I would solve it like that:
- determine the first document in the print order
- Use a script in the generatescript of that document which just sends the file to the printer.

Hi Philipp,Thanks for your answer. So you say it would be possible to generate the file to a script? Do you already have implemeted this at a customer or tested this?
When we know for sure that this is possible the customer will buy 50 licenses so this is very important for us that this will work.
Thanks for your answer.
