Calling External DLL from CoreSuite

I know that it is possible to call external DLL from CoreSuite, but need more information on how to do it.

1. Where DLL should be located ( tried to put one in Imports, but CoreSuite can't find it).
2. Can DLL be written in any language (Delphi, for ex.), or only certain languages can be used.
3. What is exact syntaxis to call method located inside DLL.
4. External DLL can do anything (show extra windows, for ex.) or there are restrictions?
5. Is CoreSuite report waiting for DLL method to finish before continuing with report, or report continues, after calling DLL?

Hi Arunas

It has to be a .NET 2.0 DLL . This DLL needs to be placed in the Root Directory of the AddOns.
We just use Static Public Functions for our LayoutHelper Functions.
