Performance problems when CoreSuite is loaded
Wim Ardon
Hi all!I've installed CoreSuite at the customers' site about a month ago. Since that moment, the performance has gone down! For instance, updating a BP's contactperson takes more than 60 seconds!
Is there a setting (f.i. in SQL-server or in the client-pc) which can improve this or is there a minimum internal memory needed for running CoreSuite ?
Best regards,
Wim Ardon

Hi WimDoes the form use formatted searches with autorefresh = "Y" ?
Depending on the other software running on the client 1 Gig should be enough.
Please make sure that SQL Server itself has 1 Gig dedicated for its own use.
Please post again into "Installation & Registration" - Part of the forum if you can't solve the issue. You can ask your question there in english.

Dear Philipp,Thanks for your quick answer!
Yes, there are formatted searches with autorefresh = Y!
I guess there ain't 1 Gb internal memory in the client!
Is it a minimum to have 1 Gb dedicated to SQL-server? The customer is running SQL Server 2000.
I will be on site tomorrow; I will check things and come back to this issue if necessary.
Best regards,
Wim

Hi WimThere is a bug in B1 which slows down forms massively when using Addons + fromatted searches with autorefresh = 'Y'
We've opened a message concerning that bug and are hoping that it'll get resolved soon.
1 Gig for SQL Server is an official recommendation.
512 MB "can" be enpugh on the client. But:
B1 : 80 MB
coresuite: 200 MB
Windows/Office 150 MB
--------------------------
Total 430 MB --> There is not much room for other software which needs to run simultanously

Hi,i just wanted to ask, if the bug "Addon + formatted search" still exists.
Or is it fixed ?

Hi MarioSeit ca. PL 29 ist da einiges verbessert worden (Performance).
Könnte noch besser sein aber ist spürbar schneller geworden.
