Ability to Update Materials / Activity Feedback / Checklists

Hi Team, 

Could the Checklists be made more flexible? 

Currently, on the mobile device, the technician has the ability to

• delete or edit Material
• delete Activity Feedback
• delete or edit Checklists

ONLY if the technician has not synchronized his device. Once synchronized, this functionality falls away.

We have received numerous requests from our technicians to ask if this can be modified up to the point where they continue checkout and thus close the Assignment / Activity.

In other words, they would like to be able to

• delete or edit Material
• delete or edit Activity Feedback
• delete or edit Checklists

After syncing while the Assignment is still open. An example would be that the technician adds an item to the Service Report, but requests the office for a different price. He leaves the customer sight for the evening to return the following day in order to complete the assignment. In the interim he syncs his device to receive his new assignments. Now he is unable to update the price of the item with the amended price as the functionality disappears after syncing. So now it becomes a back office task to update the time journal and we lose a bit of the bit of the efficiency contacting the office and requesting them to make the change, syncing again until the change appears and then checking out the assignment.
