Signature on service checkout optional

When a new assignment has been planned and the technician checks out the assignment after completion, it is mandatory to add a signature to the checkout process.

Oftentimes no customers are on hand to sign the document, leading to technician signing checkouts themselves because otherwise they cannot close their assignment.

It should be optional whether or not a signature is to be added or not.

Can this be set? As far as I am aware it is currently impossible to change this setting.
