Automatically Download Attachments linked to open objects during data synchronization. This helps to ensure that the attachment content is available for field users when working offline.

This setting is only possible to configure if the attachment caching is switched on.

The following options are available:
  • Disabled (default) – Attachments are only downloaded and cached when viewing them the first time and not during data synchronization
  • Enabled – All attachments linked to open objects for which the user has the permission to read are downloaded during the data synchronization and stored in cache
  • Mine only – Attachments linked to open objects that are assigned to the user are downloaded during the data synchronization and stored in cache
By enabling automatic downloading of attachments, there is an impact on the duration of the data synchronization and the device’s storage and available space. Default is not enabled.
