Issue description
As we were conducting in-depth Testing for Releasing our onPremise Products for 9.3 PL04 we came across two issues. We were originally reluctant to officially support this PatchLevel due to the issues found, but as 9.3 PL04 is the 9.3 PatchLevel where SAP supports the GDPR requirements, we have now gone ahead with the Release.
For the issue detected, SAP incidents were created and SAP has so far released the following SAP Notes:
-
2646343 - UIAPI_SAP Business One Shuts Down When Form Is Maximized
-
2645944 - Client Width and Client Height Are Not Changed When Form Is Resized
Symptoms
1. When trying to resize Forms such as coresuite enterprise Search, PrintPreview or coresuite customize editor, a crash might occur
- the crash occurs primarily if
- the Form is initially resized via dragging the width and the height before using the maximise button
- another font/font size but Tahoma 10 is used
2. When opening Forms such as coresuite enterprise Search, PrintPreview or coresuite customize editor, the forms are flickering
- the issue is only reproducible if
- another font/font size but Tahoma 10 is used
3. Forms created using our framework are not resizing properly
- there is no workaround for this behaviour and we kindly ask you to be patient waiting for an Update/Fix from SAP

Workaround
For Symptom 1. and 2.:
If you encounter this behaviour, we recommend that you use Tahoma 10 as a temporary workaround
- change your font/font size via Administration->System Initialisation->General Settings->Font & Bkgd
- confirm changes with "All Users (existing settings in User Setup or User Defaults will be reset)"
For Symptom 3.:
No workaround available at present.
