Using coresuite products with SAP Business One 9.0
We are pleased to announce that the following coresuite products are released and supported as of 13/05/13 for 9.0 PL04 (32-bit and 64-bit SAP Business One Client Applications) and higher (please always verify the current status via http://www.coresystems.ch/systemrequirements/):
- onPremise Products (coresuite country package, swiss payment, coresuite time, coresuite cube)
- cloud connector (based on SAP Business One 8.82 functionalities)
Prerequisites
onPremise Products
- Ensure that you have at least 9.0 PL04 installed – previous Patch levels will NOT be supported
- When running the On Premise products on 64-bit SAP Business One Clients Applications, the 32-bit DI-API has to be installed also
Understanding 32-bit and 64-bit installations
With the Major Release 9.0, 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the SAP Business One Client Application are available. As described in the AdministratorGuide_SQL (page 34):
32-bit and 64-bit versions of the SAP Business One client are available. You must install each version separately. You can install and run both versions on the same machine.
When referring to 32-bit or 64-bit versions of the SAP Business One Client Application, the 32-bit and 64-bit is only indirectly related to the Operating System on which the Clients are installed. On 64-bit Operating Systems both Client Applications can be installed.
Basically what that means is the following: One some workstations you might decide to install the 64-bit SAP Business One Client Application, on other workstations the 32-bit SAP Business One Client Application. On the server, you might decide to install both, the 32-bit SAP Business One Client Application and 64-bit SAP Business One Client Application.
The AdministratorGuide_SQL (page 75) stipulates:
When you run SAP Business One, you can use only SAP Business One add-ons valid for the version of the application you are running.
If you are using the 32-bit version of the SAP Business One client, you can install and run only 32-bit add-ons. If you are using the 64-bit version of the SAP Business One client, you can install and run only 64-bit add-ons.
This means if you work with 32-bit and 64-bit SAP Business One Client Applications, you need to install both versions of the addon. This applies to SAP add-ons as well as the coresuite (OnPremise) add-on.
What steps do you have to follow?
Please note that is important to follow the steps below. You cannot use SAP Business One 9.0 with installer versions prior 3.70!
onPremise Products:
- Uninstall the coresuite add-on
- Uninstalling the addon will have no impact on your current settings – as always it is recommended to back up e.g. your print and layout definitions; customize rules etc.
- as prior to SAP Business One 9.0, the Business One Client Application was only available as a 32- bit Application, you will need to log on to SAP Business One with a 32-bit SAP Business One Client Application to uninstall the coresuite add-on
- Download and run the installation with the respective installer (see below)
- ensure that you have read and understood the section "Understanding 32-bit and 64-bit installations" above
- log on to SAP Business One with a 32-bit SAP Business One Client Application, and register and install with the coresuite installer for 32-bit clients
- log on to SAP Business One with a 64-bit SAP Business One Client Application, and register and install with the coresuite installer for 64-bit clients
- Download the latest module versions
- This can be performed on a 32-bit or a 64-bit SAP Business One Client Applications - you do NOT need to do this for both, this only needs to performed on one SAP Business One Client Applications
cloud connector:
As the cloud connector is automatically updated, no further actions are required. Simply verify that the latest version of the cloud connector is installed. Should this not be the case, please contact support via helpdesk.coresystems.ch
Please note that as the cloud connector is not registered and installed from within SAP Business One Client Applications. Therefore the same connector version works no matter if you are using the 32-bit or 64-bit SAP Business One Client Application (see "Understanding 32-bit and 64-bit installations" above).

Installer
- For 32-bit SAP Business One Client Applications, please use the latest installer marked “Download for SAP Business One 32 Bit Client (ZIP)” available in our download area
- For 64-bit SAP Business One Client Applications, please use the latest installer marked “Download for SAP Business One 64 Bit Client (ZIP)” available in our download area
- Cloud Connector: 32-bit & 64-bit is available in our download area (same installer)
Modules
The modules are available via “Download Updates” from within the coresuite administration respectively via our download area
Please note, that same module sips work for both, 32-bit and 64-bit SAP Business One Client Applications.
