What's new in Release 5.80

Today, we are happy to announce the forthcoming release of Coresystems Field Service Software version 5.80.

Highlights of 5.80 and User Impact:

Now: Provide your customers with an end-to-end field service experience by connecting them to an End-Customer Self-Service Portal that allows them manage all relevant information.
We integrated an SLAs object, which allows you can manage the contractual details related to each equipment record, and then generate related, planned maintenance slots for them.

 

CALI

  • Coresystems Artificial Intelligence engine - CALI - is now seamlessly integrated in our Workforce Management and plans all for you: based on Technician location, skills and availability, he will optimize the assignment of the selected Service Calls to minimize travel time while maximizing your resource utilization.

  • Work faster thanks to new functionality that allows you to copy reservations, duplicate closed Activities, and manage projects through an Project Management start screen and duplicate projects.

Mobile Field Service

  • Geolocalisation settings can be tuned to ensure you always have an accurate location of your technicians, ensuring that planning is more reliable.
  • We worked on the usability of the checklists on iOS, so that your technicians can enter the data faster than ever before.
  • We improved the way expenses are managed, and made a clear distinction between internal & external expenses.

Master Data Management

  • Our new SLA management module allows you to create and manage SLAs for each of your equipment, making also possible to generate related planned maintenance.

Advanced Functionalities

  • Our powerful platform give you now a way to create Custom Objects, so that you can store information additional to the standard objects in our cloud and use it for e.g. for automation, validation, dashboards & reporting.
  • We introduced a new set of data filters that can be enabled in the Administration module. Thanks to these filters, only the relevant data will be sent out to your technicians, allowing faster processing, increased security, and higher performance.

Release Date

Our product is currently in process of a structured series of tests. Under normal circumstances, the forecasted release dates are

  • Jul 11 2017, 11:59 PM CEST & 2:59 PM PST for the following Applications: Now, Windows Client, Store
  • Jul 12 2017, 11:59 PM CEST & 2:59 PM PST for the Administration App & Cloud EU/DE/CN Cluster
  • Jul 13 2017, 11:00 PM CEST & 2:00 PM PST for the Administration App & Cloud US Cluster and Android and iOS Applications.
  • Jul 18 2017, 11:59 PM CEST & 2:59 PM PST for the following Web Applications: Knowledge Management, Master Data Management, Workforce Management
    Note: New features related to advanced Filter in the Workforce Management application will be released on a special link for specific key users in order to validate the new functionalities introduced. The General Availability for these features is currently scheduled for the 25th July upon acceptance by the key users.
